Description of Recycling Operations:

 

Economically recoverable amounts of precious metals are recovered from waste materials (including materials such as gallium arsenide) via batch 

recycling processes.  Precious metal solids are dissolved using a cyanide stripper solution which is then transferred to an on-site enclosed recycling

system where the precious metals are precipitated and removed. The precious metal precipitate resulting from these recycling activities is sent off-site 

for further refining.  Any hazardous waste generated from the recycling process is shipped off-site in accordance with the applicable provisions 

of 310 CMR 30.000.
